Here's how:

  1. Once your or account has been approved, you'll receive a welcome email with instructions to register for Online Banking after four hours (the time we need to get things ready for you).
  2. Register for Bank X Online Banking by following the link in the welcome email or visiting our home page and clicking on "New User". Enter your Information and choose a password.
    Note: Your Social Security Number will pre-fill as your initial Online Banking ID. Don't worry, the first time you log into online banking you can select a new Online Banking ID.
  3. Sign into Online Banking. The first time you log in, you can choose your Online Banking ID and set up your enhanced security features. Now you can manage your accounts and take control of your finances from a single location.

Wondering if your account balance is below a certain amount? We'll notify you. Set up alerts anytime, online. To receive an alert about your account(s) on your mobile phone and/or email just log into Online Banking, hover over the menu item “Additional Services” and Choose “Mobile Banking & Alerts”.

Text Message Banking

If you prefer to access your balances and transactions via text messaging, just text a short command to 454545 to quickly receive the information you want. To Activate, just log into Online Banking, hover over the menu item “Additional Services”, choose “Mobile Banking & Alerts” and click on the Activate button under Text Message Banking.

BAL Current and available balances for a primary account you designate
LAST The last five transactions in your primary account
BAL ALL Current balances for all the accounts you have with us
TRANS Transfer funds to your primary account
STOP Cancel the Text Message Banking service

Mobile Deposit (Smartphone)

This technology is a given and it's been around for a while. But it's still pretty nifty. Deposit checks from your smartphone using the Bank X mobile banking app.

  1. Download the Bank X mobile banking app.
    Note: You must first register for online banking to use the app.
  2. Log in to the app and select "Deposit Checks".
  3. Follow the directions to deposit your check.

My Deposit (PC)

Quickly deposit checks from your home scanner. It's fast, easy, and secure.

Here's how:

  1. Log on to online banking and select the "Additional Services" tab and look for "MyDeposit"
  2. Follow the instructions to deposit your check.

We give you options. You choose how to deposit your checks.

Direct Deposit

Stop waiting for checks to arrive. If you receive regular payments from an employer, Social Security, or other source, Direct Deposit is the optimal and convenient way to ensure funds are in your account on the first available day. Once it is set up, the payer's bank transfers funds automatically. You don’t have to do a thing.

How To Set Up Direct Deposit.

Download the direct deposit form and fill in your 11-digit Account Number and the Account Type (enter “Checking” for checking or money market savings accounts for “Savings”). Then, submit this form to your payer, by mail or in person.

For Social Security or Other Federal Governmental Income.

For Social Security/Supplemental Security Income, or other federal governmental income, you must contact the Social Security Administration to set up direct deposit. You can do this by telephone, or by mail.

By Telephone:

  • Complete the Direct Deposit application as explained above.
  • Call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213. Ask to speak to someone in "ACH Transfers."
  • Give them the Bank X address and routing number (see below) plus your account number (found on your signature card and/or checks) and account type (X checking or X savings).

Sending Money

  1. To send money, log in to your online bank account, choose transfers, then external transfers.
  2. Enter the recipients email address, mobile number or bank account information.
  3. You will be notified when the transaction is completed.

Receiving Money

  1. You receive an email or text message telling you someone sent you money.
  2. Log in to your bank account and direct the funds there.
    Safety Net: If the recipient doesn't enter their account information, the payment will be automatically returned to the sender.

Need to Transfer Money between your Bank X Accounts?

Here are two options:

  1. Click on the "Move Money" tab once you've logged into Online Banking and select either an "Account Transfer" for an immediate transfer or "Scheduled Transfer" for a recurring or specific date transfer.
  2. No pc nearby? Transfer money between your accounts using our Mobile Banking App
